Spring Layout #2

Here is the second layout we did in Club on Tuesday. This is a 12x12 done on a Whisper White background, and I put some Dsp out for everyone to pick their favorite spring time color. I choose the purple. We stamped So Saffron down the side than adhered the DSP. Layered the colored CS, again the ladies choose to match or POP with their color. We used the new Four Frames SS which isn't out yet till June, but they loved the Sneek Peek!! We made the Daisy on the right hand corner  from the Bigz Die, and finished it off with some shimmer paint(Frost White), added a brad and wala!

Hope you like:) We had a great time, and the colors the ladies used like Melon Mambo, Marina, Mist ,and So Saffron DSP looked great also.

Have a great day!!

Stamp Club Kearny 3/2011 Spring Layouts

Last night I had a great time with my Kearny ladies!! We had several women out so we actually finished early and I was able to get some good shut eye.. But we sure miss them when they are gone!! Hope you all are well rested and ready for some samples:)

Layout #1
This is some free handing scrap booking:) First you layer 3 different colors of green(we mixed DSP and CS) then you free hand cut your tree. The tree top is from the medium size Scallop Circle Big Shot Die, which we faux sueded to be fuzzy. The Happy Easter greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes, stamped with new Four Frames SS, All the butterflies are from the Butterfly Sizzlit. The clouds were made with a scallop circle as a template, then sponged with Marina Mist, and finished with some Frost White Shimmer Paint. A few of the butterflies were shimmered also, and the row of circles at the bottom is made with the shimmer paint and a dauber.

Come back tomorrow for Layout #2!!
Thanks for stopping by , hope you enjoyed..

Papa Crowe is with the Lord now:)

Grandpa Crowe on his 71st birthday, 2006

Grandpa crowe with Tirzah, sharing their love for cake:)

Grandpa with Grandkids on the Kauffman side. He was so good to them, and loved them like his own. My daughter never knew he wasn't Dales dad! He was a great grandpa!!

I haven't been posting for the past week because it has been completely crazy around the Kauffman
household. My sweet darling husband has been by my side through most of Spring Break. He did a great job at our Prayer Retreat with the youth for 3 days, and we thoughly enjoyed the wonderful cabin and weather of Happy Jack!! But the day after we came home we learned that his Step father passed away in the night. But the amazing thing was that on the way home from the retreat we heard he was in hospice so Dale took our daughter Tianna with him to visit grandpa. When he came home he thought it could be weeks or months before Grandma Crowe would go home to be with the Lord, but in God's providence He was gone by the morning, so  I am so glad they were able to visit and Tianna was able to see her Grandpa one more time. The next day Tianna and I went and stayed with my mother in law so she wouldn't be alone, and we were surprised at how well she was doing! She has been a wonderful caregiver for the past 18 months, and I think she was happy that he wasn't in anymore pain. God is so good ,and I was so blessed to have Gary as a Step Father -in-law. He loved the Lord, and came to pray with me when I had my scary Brain MRI, and would always reassure us of Gods Faithfullness in some of our hardest times. He was a jokester, and loved making us laugh.. He and I shared our love for Peanut Butter, and while it is one of my favorite foods I still never could eat it on my Hamburgers like he could:) He made the best Peanut Butter Fudge, and know his recipe is mine:) The biggest gift he gave to our family was his love for Dales mom. She was such a loved woman because of him, and she would glow in his presence... She will miss him, and I know she looks forward to the day when she will see him again.
The funeral was Saturday, and the best part of funerals is being with family. Dales family is scattered around Az, and we usually only see each other on Thanksgiving so it was great to catch up. I thank the Lord for the wonderful family God has given both Dale and I and pray that we can be that Godly example to our children and grandchildren to come!!
God bless ya all, and I hope to get back to Stamping this week!!

New In Color Card

This is a regular sized card where I used Concord Crush as the card base, then layered it with Whisper White. I also used Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, and Daffodil Delight for the butterflies. I inked the butterflies with our DOT< DOT
Ribbon is Peach Parfait, and the greeting is from the Just Believe SS. I also ran the base and the other butterflies through the polka dot embossing folder.  The antenna is some of our linen thread, then added some bling:)

Spring Layout 8X8

This layout is a total CASE from a past SU Success magazine, but I loved the combination of colors so I had to try it .

The great thing about this layout is that it looks great flipped. I actually photographed this upside down and didn't realize till now:) So it looks good either way.. The colors are So Saffron, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip. Stamp set is Just Believe. The frame is 4 cut out Pretty in Pink Top Notes turned at angles to create the frame. Love the springy feel that this layout gives.. Could be upgraded with flowers and butterflies:)

Thanks for looking .. hope you enjoyed.. any questions about any of the products please contact me!!

Enough horsing around.. BACK to stamping!!

Obviously, life has left me a little sidetracked lately, but I got back in the stamping mood yesterday, and went a little crazy getting ready for clubs and upcoming classes. Then I realized I hadn't shown you some of the things the girls in Superior made:

This is a small gift bag that I used Pumpkin Pie DSP, and Rich Razzelberry CS with.. So cute, and will hold 3X3 cards too or a gift card..

Punched Large Scallop in Rich Razzleberry, then stamped the For you from the Punch Bunch SAB stamp. Next used SU markers to color the For you in Old Olive, So Saffron, Pumpkin pie.. Then I stamped them again and cut out the flowers and popped them up with some dimensionals:) I then stuck some bling on the PP flower.. Oh, I also paper pierced the Rich Razzelberry with the piercer and mat pad..

Hope you enjoyed , come back tomorrow for a cute springy butterfly card!!
Sale-a-bration is still on!! Check it out!!

Have a great day , and God bless!!

Disneyland Rocks again:)

So Disneyland is the place to be for our family.. It is so refreshing that we can be ourselves, and Autism doesn't get all the attention!!
We were very blessed to get a Family Assistance Pass this year which pretty much put us in the front of the line, which I know doesn't seem really fair, but if you had to wait in line behind Tirzah you would be yelling "Give this family a pass for goodness sake!!" See Tirzah has a really hard time waiting, and so she starts yelling louder and louder, scaring small children, and making old people stare.. So to just hop on without all the drama was really nice, and she was able to ride more of her favorite rides which made her behaviors almost non-existence.. In fact we got the most weird stare from a man in front of us who was blind, can't imagine what the poor man was thinking when all he could hear was ..." You need to stand still, no more babies, your a big girl, stop crying:).. " You could tell he was a little freaked out cuz I'm sure he's heard nothing like all that noise before:).. We also walked next to a man with a little guy that had autism, and he was struggling with getting him across the busy street without him screaming.. I just wanted to tell that poor man that it does get better, and how brave he was cuz we never could have taken Tirzah at that age.. way too much stimulation!! I'm glad though that people are becoming more educated about Autism.. Twice I overheard ladies suggesting that Tirz was autistic, than talking to each other about friends and families they knew that dealt with it.. So we really had a good time together , just the 4 of us.. like a real family:)

Dale and I bright and early in front of Main Street! I love that man for all he puts up with!!

The 4 of us on the Jungle Cruise.. Tirzah wasn't sure about all the animals:)

T and Tirz in front of Main Street.. Tirzah always has to have her towel:)
Pluto was the only character we could even get close too.. Tirzah wasn't sure about him:) Poor Tianna had to do the whole trip with her sore and bummed up left arm, but she is such a trooper!! She really puts up with a lot and doesn't really complain too much:)

I thank the Lord so much for all the wonderful blessings He has given us, and for the little extras like a special pass that actually helps us enjoy His blessings!!

Sale-a-bration is still on.. Free item from Sale-a-bration catalog with every $50 purchase.. Check it out!!

Day at the Capitol

So going to the Capitol is just about as much fun as Stamping.. I love the hubub of the political system.. though often I am so saddend by the partisianship.. But it was great to go with people for their first time, and I volunteer at a Pregnancy Center in Winkleman that was part of a group of Crisis Pregnancy Centers that was recognized so our founders were about to go!!
Not sure about the spotlight on my chest:) But this is a picture of us all with Kathi Herrod from Center for Arizona Policy!!

Frank and Clare Grochoki with Kathi Herrod.

Senate Resolution recognizing Pregnancy Care Centers!! Yea it went through:)

All of us with Sen. Steve Smith from our District.

Frank and Clare with Rep. Frank Pratt

Frank and Clare talking to Sen. Steve Smith about the centers.
It was such a nice and encouraging day to see so many Pro-Life Representatives and Senators, and for them to stand and clap for us was a great honor..
God bless ya all and have a great weekend.. I'm off to a worshop in Superior.. Hope to post pics 2morrow:)

Crazy Hormone Hair?

I'm so not sure what in the world is going on with my hair!! Maybe this is something that happens when you turn 40 ??? Everyday is a new adventure, and today it curled so 80s style, and now I have to go to the Capitol with this big hair!! What's with that.. Does anyone else have this dilema???

Actually, in this bigger it doesn't look very big, but in real life it moves and flows:)  So enough about the hair!!
This card is one we are doing at Fridays Workshop in Superior!!

I used the Parlor DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalog, and our Creat a Cupcake SS. The blue button is from the catalog also:) I used Pumpkin pie and melon Mambo CS. Added a few touches from the cupcake punch, and a bling for the flower:)

Hope you like!!

Mickey Mouse Chipboard Album

What you can't see is that the Mickey paper is really shining, and smooth!!

I love how all the Mickey stuff Coordinates!!

The papers are SU, They are Real Red, Daffodil Delight, and Basic Black.

Boho punch flowers. Binder punch.

Stamp Camp FUN!!!

Stamp Camp is always a blast!! and this time was no different. It was a nice cloudy overcast day, and we brought so much sunshine to our camp with lots of laughs, stories, and some great cropping:) My friend Leasa has people pics I need to get from her , but here are the projects the girls made..

All projects were made using the Love Birds Scrapping Kits. The colors are Early Espresso, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and Blushing Bride. The Diecuts made it so easy to do a layout in like 15 mins:)

This project is made with a old box from SU , covered with the Love Bird DSP and then making 4(3x3) cards for the inside using the diecuts again!!

This project was made using SU clear mount packages, and covered in the Love Birds DSP, then again using the Die cuts.. The inside has a writing pad for your shopping list and a pocket on the other side for your receipts or stamps.

This project was made with the Tins that are still on SU clearance rack( check them out at  We also used 4 our of Notecards and envelopes for the insides .

This gift bag is also covered with Certainly celery, Blusing Bride, and using So Saffron ribbon. Die Cuts are from the Love Birds set.

This layout will not turn around:) But it is also extremely easy due to the Die Cuts..
Hope you enjoyed the tour, the girls did a great job making their projects their own, and we had a great Saturday just being together. Isn't that what Stampin is all about!!

Don't forget Sale-a-Bration is still on till the end of March, and you get a free Sale-a-Bration set with each purchase of $50 in product.. Don't miss out your chance to get some great Stamps and Paper for FREE!!!
